Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using AFTScore (the “Site”), including its calculators, standards pages, and articles, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What AFTScore is
AFTScore provides free, self-service tools and reference content related to the Army Fitness Test (AFT), the legacy Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), and Army body composition standards, including the AFT calculator, the ACFT calculator, and the body fat & BMI calculator. The Site is intended for training, planning, and self-assessment purposes.
Not official, not affiliated
AFTScore is an independent, privately operated resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated on behalf of the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, or any other government agency. Names, terms, and references to Army tests and standards are used for descriptive and informational purposes only. See our About Us page for more on who we are.
Calculator accuracy & estimates
Our calculators are built from publicly published Army scoring standards and directives, and in places interpolate between published anchor points to estimate a score. Results are unofficial estimates only. They are not a system of record and do not represent an official, graded test result.
No professional advice
Content on the Site, including training tips, event breakdowns, and FAQs, is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical, fitness, nutritional, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional before beginning a new training program, especially if you have an existing injury or medical condition.
Acceptable use
- You will not use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
- You will not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site’s normal operation, including through automated scraping that degrades service for other users.
- You will not misrepresent calculator results as official Army determinations.
- You will not reproduce, resell, or republish substantial portions of the Site’s content without permission.
Intellectual property
The text, design, calculators, and other original content on AFTScore are owned by AFTScore or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Army standards, directives, and regulations referenced on the Site (such as AR 600-9 and ATP 7-22.01) remain public government material and are not owned by AFTScore.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party or official government sources for reference. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Links are provided for convenience only.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its calculators are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that calculator results will be error-free or match your official test outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFTScore and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including reliance on a calculator estimate for test preparation, career, or administrative decisions.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time, including to reflect changes in Army standards that affect how our tools work. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
